Some of the latest...

I'm not much of a Dale, Jr. fan, but I love the shirt!

This one is taken in the cafeteria at Savannah's "Honor Role Tea" (punch & cookies, eewe.)

This is one of us at this crazy dueling piano bar, we had so much fun, maybe too much, the goofy smiles give us away!

This is Christi and I under an icy tree. We flew into Albany, NY to shop for costumes on the day after the worst ice storm in 30 years! It was fun shopping with nothing but daylight, we even picked out our last two costumes by flashlight! But the weather didn't get us down, we had a great time, cut up all of the 24 hours that we were there. I thought Albany was wonderful. I can't wait for next year!! Maybe it will be warmer...

Merry Christmas! Our new year will be celebrated in Atlanta!! Woo Hoo! I love being a travelin' woman!

SEE???

See! Don't send these pix around to anyone but family, I still have a lot of weight to loose, faceshots can always look deceiving!

One Fun Filled weekend in Atlanta

We went to Atlanta last weekend and spent a wonderful 3 days with our friends Janet & Al. We went to Al's Bands' gig at O'Shaunessey's. The Loose Shoes Band was great as always! They took requests and Yes, Jerry and I danced right in the middle of that ol' smoke filled place! What fun. What memories. The next day was spent at The Speidel's lake house. Ahhhhh, the true definition of rest and relaxation, or as Cami puts it "Chillaxin". Enjoy our silly pix!

I dunno what is up with all the paddle boat shots, we got in the water and the ski boat!!

Sadness need to get outta here!

Boom baby! Gone! Gone is the sad days. (yes, dear loved ones, PMS is gone) I have no spectacularly great news, we are just really anticipating the coming of SUMMER!! We don't have any huge plans, just a family reunion and maybe another trip to Gatlinburg, (hint hint Jerry).

Ok, I will post a pic of recent. Here is the thing, I was taking the pic for my nutritionist who wants to make some sort of collage and we needed one of me now. I thought the fun thing might be to put it up here and then put one up of, say in August before I started my "New Life Quest". Also please note that I just returned from the gym, so I am sweaty, and thank heavens "smell-o-pc" hasn't been invented yet.

I love you guys, and Amy, it is your turn!!

So, I got tagged too!

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

10 years ago: I was in my first semester at Spokane Falls Community College, loved it! Jerry and I had just contacted each other by email. I can't believe it has been 10 years!

5 things on my to-do list today:
1- Go to the gym and don't complain.
2- Laundry.
3- Put together names for the Valentines dance guest list, there is 450 of them!
4- Vacuum and dust the house, basically clean.
5- Help Tracie with Achievement Night.

Things I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: Go on a cruise!

2 of my bad habits: Not making my bed in the AM and Not going to bed when I should. (like now)

5 places I have lived:
1-Kannapolis, NC
2-Spokane, WA
3-Monroe, NC
4-Charlotte, NC
5-Citrus Heights, CA

5 Jobs I have had:
1-Substitute teacher
2-Secretary
3-PTO Fund raising Chair (man, it was a full time job for no pay!)
4-Roll-A-Round Skate rink
5-Insulation Installer (that was the worst job!)

Things people don't know about me:
I am still convincing myself I don't want a tattoo, Jordan!
What the heck, I am an open book, what don't people know about me?

SO I tag Cami and Tina (I don't know anyone else who has a blog that hasn't been tagged yet!)

Merry Christmas! er.. hem~ Happy Happy Holidays!

Well the holidays are here and are we ready kids? I can't hear you... Oh.. Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?? Uh oh, too much TV with Savannah. She was out with the sniffles this one day this week. She is fine. Well to update lets see, Cami is working a new job as a nanny for her boss from X-treme Play. She loves it, she has more freedom and her nights free which she loves. The boys (ages, 7, 3, 2,and 1) are one heck of a handful, but she seems to be handling it very well. She hasn't run out screaming yet, and the kids still seem to like her. I think it is good for her, she can learn a lot. For some reason I wasn't able to teach her the fine art of cooking and cleaning and diaper changing. She acts like this is the first time she has ever done any of those things. It is quite funny, and I think she is happy. Savannah just got her progress report and as usual she is doing great. Still loves school and her teacher. I hope this lasts for the next 10 years!

Jerry and I started our own online travel agent biz. Anyone who reads this had better book travel on our site or I will feel really bad. Just kidding. This is booking travel on the same airlines and cruises as all the other sites (ie, travelocity, cheap seats etc..), this one pays us commission every time someone books. So go check it out, let us know if you like it or have any comments. www.ytb.com/notroubletravel Feel free to call us anytime if you don't want to go online to book and want us to book it for you. Next weekend we will go to RTA training in Charlotte, looking forward to that! I love to learn about the travel biz. I'm so excited!

Anyway, Christmas cards are on their way to most of you, and have a good one!

Love
Suzanne

Ok, you have to see these Halloween pix

WOW ! What a couple of weekends!

Last weekend we "stepped out" for a walk-a-thon for Diabetes for the American Diabetes Association! Our group from Bank of America raised over $6,500! We took Maggie and Savannah and walked 3.2 miles. We all had to soak our feet when we got home. We would have soaked Maggie's feet but she wouldn't have stood still in the warm water. It was a really fun day! Jerry and Savannah went to the Nature Museum after the walk, they loved that too.

This weekend, I got to go to another Time Out for Women. This time in Atlanta. It was great, as always. I stayed with Janet and Al. Here are some pix of them too. Ain't they cuuuuute??

Isn't It Halloween Yet?

Oh the Humiliation! Cami bought this little bunny outfit for Maggie. She is dangerous with money and a job, believe me! I thought it was funny and since I don't have any prego pix or new kid pix to put up, I thought I would concentrate on the "Belle of the House", Maggie. She really is a good sport when it comes to dressing up. She takes about all she can, with a few licks to the face to let you know she really loves you but would rather not be dressed up, then she takes off and heads outside. She really is quite quick about the last action mentioned. We now have a "doggie-door" that she is very proficient at using. She races through that thing quicker than you can think "She's gonna hit the door!". She then races through the door with lightening speed and accuracy. When Spike, Ryan's dog was here it was very funny to see the two of them race for the door. Spike was usually a little slower than Maggie and would get under her. I don't know how she managed to not step on him or really get too irritated with him. I think she thought it was a fun game. Sometimes he would miss and hit his head on the edge of the door, or stop right at the door as Maggie goes sailing outside. I have video of it, if there were some way of uploading that somewhere on this thing I would. Although I would have to put a disclaimer on the bottom about wetting your pants and wearing depends when you watch. It should be recommended.

Well, nothing else going on, Ta Ta For Now!

A new day a dawnin'

Hey everyone!
Well, for those of you who care, and maybe for those who don't I have news. I quit my job. This is a good thing. When you do what you love it it a joy to go to work and you can put up with a lot of crap. Well I guess I didn't love my job as much as I thought. I didn't like the crap and wasn't willing to put up with it. I loved the kids and working with my friends. But I missed doing it because I love it. I was doing it because I thought I had to. I have missed taking care of my family and doing fun stuff when I want to. So, horray to me! The pic above is the kids, Matt and Ryan's dog Spawn. Spawn. Yes Spawn. Shea is his mom, so he is names Spawn of Shea. I hate it, but it isn't my dog. He is cute though isn't he?
